Advanced Automatic Traction Control (AATC)
"AATC is an advanced traction control system that can lock the differentials according to the type of terrain travelled, preventing wheel spin, protecting the tires unnecessary wear and tear and increased traction and efficiency. AATC proactively detects slopes, inclines, and speed acceleration."
Single lever for transmission and body control
Unique to Cat articulated trucks, the unique lever for combining body drive with transmission control provides immediate and intuitive control of body gears and movements. The new lift assist system provides better control for the operator, allowing for faster cycle times and fewer control movements.
Cat Detect with Stability Assist
"The Cat Detect system with Stability Assist alerts the operator when the machine is approaching an unsafe angle when driving or tipping the body. If you are using the lift assisted, the machine stops lifting the body and emits both an audible and visual warning. The system monitors the angles of the cab, rear frame and longitudinal slope independently."
